TextureMagic offers plenty of effects and filters to create unique seamless textures. You can influence them by changing meaningful no-nonsense parameters to create truly amazing new textures. Unlike other texture creators TextureMagic is a bitmap editor like Adobe Photoshop¬ -- so you apply filters and effects the way you already know.
Create seamless textures from photographed surfaces.
TextureMagic offers powerful tools to transform pictures into seamless textures. Do you want (for example) a brick wall texture that looks absolutely realistic? Just photograph a brick wall, load the picture into TextureMagic and in minutes you have a seamless realistic tileable texture.
Edit textures in a bitmap editor that keeps the textures seamless.
TextureMagic is a bitmap editor, so you have all the tools you would expect: Paintbrush, Rubber Stamp and all the other tools you already know. This gives you complete control. The magic is that -- unlike editing in Adobe Photoshop¬ -- TextureMagic always keeps your textures perfectly seamless.
System requirements
+ Power Macintosh or any other Mac OS Computer with a Power PC processor
+ System 7.1.2 or better (Mac OS 8 or better recommended)
+ 8 MB RAM or more installed
How to install
Forget that! You have a Macintosh, don't you? ;-) Just double click the ╟TextureMagic╚ icon.
The manual
The file named ╟Manual╚ opens the HTML manual of TextureMagic. It will open with your prefered web browser (specified to open the "file:" protocol). If you don't have Mac OS 8.5 (or better) or Internet Config installed, this will not work.
If you do have a web browser (or any other application that will display HTML files) and opening the ╟Manual╚ file gives you an error message, then you may open the manual by dropping the file ╟manual.html╚ inside the ╟Manual files╚ folder onto any HTML viewer application.
